In two days' time, I will be relocating my business to a shop where, with luck, no misadventures, accidents, or acts of god, Kurogane, or Mokona will befall my potions.

Hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday, ten to six, and I will deal in the same products I have heretofore sold, with the addition of the ingredients themselves and several other by-request items such as wands.

However, this is not meant to be an advertisement. I would like to believe that explosion was all the press I needed for one lifetime.

I am hiring three employees: two clerks and someone familiar with horticulture. Magical ability and retail experience is not required, but given preference.

[Hourly wages are mentioned here, and...they're fair, but not high. Or rather, not high enough to convince someone to work for him if they know him well.]

If I catch an employee thieving from me, I will not hesitate to cut off their hand and sell it in Dismas to the highest bidder. Bear that in mind when asking for an interview.

Next, I am told there is a school in Anatole. Is it defunct? What becomes of the Scorched teenagers and children who have not yet completed their educations?

[OOC: Apothecary opens on Saturday, and that info is here! His wands take a month to create, and are not quality items, as he has only attempted one so far. They're more stopgap measures.

And for anyone in the Monster House, he has been acting absolutely dodgy and irritable since winning the tournament. He didn't expect anyone to be rooting for him, so now he's avoiding you all save for inevitable meetings at mealtimes. Thankfully, his avoidance is assisted by his comings and goings as he moves his stores from the workroom to the new shop.]

I didn't have a formal one, but I did finish a correspondence course if that helps. They didn't exactly have a formal class settin' in prison for kids my age there. I just wrote stuff down an' turned it in. Does that help?

It stands to reason, however, that Scorched children should not have their educations interrupted because they have been abducted.

[There is only one word in this transmission that immediately commands Lucius's attention: Wands. With of course, a few ensuing questions—

Severus is conversant in wandlore? As an additional field of study at home, or something begun here as a matter of necessity? Resources here being more limited, he would imagine. Although there is the possibility of alternate information from... other worlds, he supposes.

And how convenient is this, that Lucius just happens to be in need of a wand—or inconvenient as the case may be, that the one person who could craft him a new one (presumably) is currently eyeing him with a measure of distrust (which is reciprocated to a certain extent as well).

There is no doubt that he will swallow what little pride he has left and enquire about this service; risking rebuff, duplicity or worse: whether or not he can afford to purchase one.

The question is more whether he'll do it sooner or wait until he's so desperate as to potentially place himself in an even worse position than he is currently.]

And this is when I begin to wonder whether sarcasm is making a resurgence in the world through technology and I am simply too old to spot it when it happens.

Haven't done a whole lot yet, need to advertise more I guess.

But I can teach swordplay, various forms of hand to hand combat and ninjutsu and samurai fighting techniques. Sorta depends on what the person's purpose is for learning, really. That tends to determine the style and weapons they should be taught.

A vast majority of us are capable of wandless magic - and, indeed, they are rarely required for potions.

However, yes: we use wands to channel our magic.

[For a couple reasons, really: a) he still can't go back to his actual job(s) in the Alliance b) he's bored out of his mind not working, and c) he wants to thank the Monster House residents for letting him and Barnaby stay for awhile, despite the inconvenience two sudden extra people must be causing.]

I have not heard of any school here. I suppose those who are not already educated are left to fend for themselves or acquire private tutors if they are lucky. [Lelouch had been teaching Bran when he was in Anatole, though that was out of fondness for the boy rather than a desire to teach.]
